| | | Complete Works of John Knox
Howdy,
Anyone (emeh, like Chris Coldwell) know of a set of John Knox's complete works in modernized English?
Reason I ask is that I may have this as one of my pet projects.
Cheers,

I'm not aware of a complete works that has been put into modern English. It would be quite an undertaking though. You will need the Laing edition of the works, and then I think one or two items that didn't make that appear a/some later shorter collection(s). These may be in the PHP volume of select works put out a number of years back. PM me for some other info about other out of copyright stuff. Quote:

Logos offers the David Laing work with an interlinear modernization of the text. According to their website, either the primary (original from the Laing work) or the secondary (modernization) can be displayed or not.
It can be found here: The Works of John Knox (6 Vols.)
at a reasonable price of $99
