I still recommend the beautifully bound volumn published by Naphtali Press! It is so much easier to read.

The NP edition has been well received; I will add that it is a critical text making use of several editions. And,
Sold Ground Books has it on sale!

72 sermons on 12 verses? That blows my mind.

Buy it now.

This is an unimaginable price on what is one of the most spiritually important collections of sermons in terms of its impact on my Christian walk. Durham's exposition of this important chapter of Isaiah's prophecy is, without a doubt, one of the prize items in my collection of puritan sermon books. Pass up a dinner out if you have to in order to get this collection instead... it is far more worthwhile.

I can't agree more!

Also, I was wondering, how is Durham on Revelation? I can't find the commentary anywhere, so I'm guessing it's out of print. I have his Song Of Solomon, and it's quite good, imo.

Any plans on reprinting Durham's Revelation commentary?

The Old Paths edition of the Revelation commentary is sold out; you may find a copy somewhere but I think Ernie Springer sold the remaining copies to Solid Ground. I purchased the rights to the OP edition from Ernie at the start of 2008, and hopefully will issue an improved version matching the format of the Isaiah 53 sermons. Can't say when; maybe when demand rises; but still a lot of work to do. So, eventually, maybe, Lord willing, Naphtali Press will issue all of Durham's works (maybe not the Song of Solomon; as it is ubiquitous; but you never know).

How about 12 volumes on Job (Joseph Caryl); or a tombstone size volume on Numbers; or a folio on Philemon (both by William Attersoll). Certainly these works try most's patience nowadays.

I should add that another benefit of the NP edition aside from a nice clear type and format, is that I have tried to recover some of the outlines that cross multiple sermons which are lost or difficult to follow in the old editions. They are there. Also, some comment on obscure phrases or words which I've cross checked against the 1723 London "Englished" fourth edition which tried to rephrase the Scotticisms.

The outlines provided by the editor are very helpful in seeing the big picture.

I hear he's not so smart; stubborn more than anything else.
