Someone recently gave me the 6 vol. Works of Thomas Boston.
What would be the difference between that and the 12 Vol. complete works (besides the obvious)?

Rev. Andrew:
Do any of your 6 volumes contain either the Marrow of Modern Divinity with Boston's notes or Human Nature and the Fourfold State or Boston's Memoirs? If not, then you actually have only the first half of the set and would require the other six volumes to make it complete.
I gathered this information from 'Meet the Puritans' by Joel Beeke. If you don't have this book and are interested in the Puritans, it is an excellent resource to have available.

Then the difference between what you have and the 12 volume set of Thomas Boston is the author.
