"Rain, Reign, here to stay"

Well.... I was having a good morning washing my car, cleaning it out, and making it smell good. All was well. After I finished washing the car, I went to feed my animals and it began to rain. My windows were down, my sun roof was open.... but I didn't care. This was one of the most peacful rains I think I have ever seen. So I felt kinda inspired so I went and got my laptop, went and sat in my swing on the front porch and wrote this poem. I know it all sounds kinda ridiculous, but I just couldn't help it. Well hope you enjoy:

What a peace, what a calm, what a beauty to behold,

From this wonderful miracle much about God can be told.

A God of peace, as the rain pours down,

As it begins to cover a dry, thirsty ground.

A land in need of grace poured out,

A land full of heresy and doubt.

But a sovereign God is in control,

Constantly adding to His fold.

Thunder strikes as does his wrath,

But a just and loving wrath, our God hath.

Mercies to great for me to comprehend,

Mercies He gives to we wretched men.

A God of wonders, A God of love

These heavenly drops a gift from above,

As it falls on my head and runs down my face,

I can think of nothing but your sovereign grace.

It is this God who makes me whole,

So that I may truly say "It is well with my soul!"
