Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God.

I wrote this poem.

I wrote this poem... enjoy!
================================================== =======
"Yea, hath God said?" says the snake,
As he leaps and sees Man eat in glee.
To death and damnation goes helpless Adam,
From Eden he flees - sin chained to his feet.
Today that tempter sits with his doctors,
Still scorning and mocking, always tempting,
"Judgment Day is still miles away,
So indulge in life, for tomorrow we die!"

"Arise, and walk!" then says the Lord,
Unto His children He calls from the heathen,
Proclaiming them free with the Gospel preached:
And promises them all sin's eventual fall.
Though our own eyes cannot see Christ,
Yet in our hearts He dwells in us.
"Robed no more in filthy rags," we call,
"Cleaned and kept safe by our Lamb!"

"I shall come soon!" cries the Bridegroom;
Unto His sheep He delivers this promise;
Unto His people He grants His keys;
The Good News that unlocks sin's cursed bonds.
Soon the tempter shall be bound,
To burn with his army in fiery flames,
"Let all who knows Christ come", we cry,
"Rejoice and sing that Christ is King!"
