Wonderful rendition, especially the "ten thousand years" verse. But the bagpipes, aye, the bagpipes!!

Their voices are amazing--but not as amazing as grace

Am I crazy, or does the man upon whom they focus between 1:20 and 1:26 look remarkably like Kevin Bacon?
Thanks, by the way.

I also really like Ms. Church's rendition. I get goosebumps at around 2:30+. If I wasn't Reformed, already a Christian, I would walk the aisle

Nice sound. I do prefer the original lyrics ...
The Lord has promis’d good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call’d me here below,
Will be forever mine.
... to the later addition of the 10,000 years verse.

My Highland blood's a running! Thanks for posting that.
Are they in the Coliseum? Imagine, the place where so many of our brothers and sisters face a martyr's death. . . and the hear those words sung there.
And, can anyone tell me if this moisture that has fallen into my keyboard will do permanent damage?

The tone of that one kept me expecting someone to bust out the lyrics to house of the rising sun.
