It's OK. You can read a digital book instead of a physical book.

I know the latest news report suggests that such an innocent activity can possibly rewire your brain. But that's OK.

Even without the news reports, you've certainly felt the vague and ephemeral hint that digital reading has some serious limitations. But even such limitations are OK.

You see, my fellow Christian, all kinds of things in life can rewire your brain. The real question is: are you aware of it? And what are you doing about it?

I find myself more likely to listen to something on the web several times, but read a book in paper form the conventional way

Rewiring my brain to reading physical books is what I'm currently trying to do. I've been reading on digital devices since 1996. I read physical books, but the amount of text I took in from the internet far outweighs that. The iPhone and iPad have only furthered that. Now that I'm running into more books that I know I will want to lend or give after reading, I'm trying to go more physical. I enjoy the experience more.

That being said, I'm still excited to spritz.

Digital sure saves space and I guess you can loan it out from Barnes and Noble. I made a Nook book out of my physical book and actually can make more money (if that were the object) from selling the book on Barnes and Noble than from selling it on Amazon.

Talking in a book club I think is the best way to digest a book, whether digital or physical.
