what causes one to hide his identity?

Posted 12-04-2007 at 04:09 AM by Raj (Making Every Thought Captive)

The U.P. and Punjab Governments has banned Madhuri Dixit's new movie Aaja Nachale. The movie was banned because of the derogatory remarks against the Dalit community in India. The U.P. chief minister has also written to the central govt. to ban the movie from the theators.

Although I have not watched the movie and did not hear the songs of it but I just read on the internet that the movie has been banned because of a song which contains these words, "bole mochi bhi apne ko sunar...

Beauty of languages

Posted 11-19-2007 at 08:23 AM by Raj (Making Every Thought Captive)

Languages are interesting. some time they may make you feel good other times you may have to feel bad for you don't know each of them.

Languages were a gift of God to humankind to save them from problems and ultimately from death(remember the event of tower of Babel). But these languages in Christ bring glory and honor to God(remember the disciples, praising God in different tounges) . It is so beautiful to see and hear word of God and the beautiful hymns in different languages....

Pitted against me living too much "under the Law" was the presumption that I was not living enough "in the Holy Spirit." Now all of this was, to be honest, confounding and news to me. How one who does not know me could, with any intellectual honesty whatsoever, impute such sentiments to my state of being left me with only two logical possibilities....
