Hating My Brother's and Sister's

Posted 09-07-2009 at 03:54 PM by OPC'n

I was reading 1John 2 and read these verses as I have a billion times in the past...

Quote:
9Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 10Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling. 11But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Posted 08-03-2009 at 02:11 PM by OPC'n

It always makes me shake my head when someone tells me they feel one of my gifts from God is a giving heart. The ground is left dry yet cracks a smile.

I lose time on time.
The past laughs in a cage.

I fight the wind which bends my back.
The clouds roar with delight.

While waiting...

I moan and life smiles on.

Especially those "big" sins that you want to bury and never reveal, but which do simmer inside. God allows us to fall and wallow in it to show us that it is a real sin that...
