Recently a brother made some disparaging comments about "Young Earth Creationism" or YEC.

I told him I thought "Old Earth Creationism" (or OEC) was geocentric. He asked me to explain.

That is the background and purpose of this post.

Before I go on I would like to say that there are many things on which good Christians disagree. What should our attitude be with one another on these subjects? Should we be like Jane Curtain and Dan Ackroyd...
