These are simply the old anabaptist (fanatic) arguments against offices of any kind. Which, of course, meant in the end that they were led by charismatics beholden and responsible to none. | I don' think the author of the article was arguing against "offices" at all, it was simply the use of taking titles to display that office that was in question.
