I wake up every morning, not just carrying the burdens of my wife and two daughters but carrying those of a whole church as well.
People say, "Well, just turn it over to Jesus." I understand that, but the undershepherd still must care for the sheep. And a big portion of that is caring for their souls, their disconcern for their own spiritual lives, and simply carrying their burdens on our hearts. | I am not nor have I been a pastor, but as a house parent (the 15 years I was one) that feeling just about killed me!
