Merely because a doctrine is not given support in creeds and confessions doesn't automatically or necessarily make it heretical. No secondary standard can include everything the Bible teaches. Only if a doctrine is not supported
by Scripture is a doctrine heretical.
The historic premil position has been held since the earliest days of the church since, in the view of those who hold it, it has biblical support.
