Hey Randy. My step-dad passed this along and it has good points.

Now, what do you think of this: The Fed dumps a month's supply of emergency oil. That 1. Nullifies the reason of having the emergency oil reserve 2. Puts us in a weak position should we actually need the oil as a nation (war I suppose) 3. It puts the government in control of oil prices and I like less government intervention.

That won't stop speculation, but just erase some of the players now.

If we wait long enough, people will begin to panic as the oil bubble begins to burst and prices will moderate in a couple years. But, that's my personality. Aggressive action may be necessary
