The area in which we live and work is more Christianized than Wheaton, Illinois. Yet we consider it crucial. Why? The churches here get an A+ for evangelization and an F- for discipleship and doctrinal teaching. They happily go to some of the least-evangelized areas and m areas, the former on the Kenya border and the latter central and east in the country. No white-face could ever endure what they endure. The great commission is that we make disciples, not that we chalk up "decisions" or plant churches. If we can inspire this ethnic group to keep their passion for evangelization but add solid teaching then our white-face contribution will result in a much larger harvest than we could ever achieve directly in 10 lifetimes.
