On a secondary question does anyone recommend this Bible?
I do not know if any of the notes have been substantially revised in this edition, but in the older MacArthur Bibles the notes are decidedly dispensational.
Hmm, I'm not so sure it's entirely dispinsational. I'm very familiar with MacArthur's background, I have read several of his books, and I subscribe to his weekly podcast (just meaning that I know he diverges in some strong areas away from both classic and progressive dispies). In terms of the study Bible, I own it, and I have benefitted greatly from it. In fact, if was one of the means in which God helped be understand the doctrines of grace.

If you already own the first release of it, then it's not that big of a change; but, if you don't, then I highly recommend getting the new edition. The extra features make it one of my very favorite study Bibles.
