I'm using "OpenOffice," which is the open license alternative to Microsoft Word. When I open the same document in Microsoft Works (not Word), the needed highlights show up. I don't want to have to toggle back and forth, and MS Works will not automatically save the doc as *.doc. Instead it always defaults to *.wps.
