I'm not sure about the actual value of the heirlooms. The best way to determine the value is to call around to various antique shops and tell them what you have. Ask them how much they would pay for the item. Then add about 50% to 300% for a market retail value. Just depends on the item. Make sure you call a variety of shops. This way you can get an accurate idea of their worth.

Also, check Craigslist and eBay for similar items and see what their selling for.
