Anyone Know Anything About Aging Dinnerware?

Recently we inherited a few slightly older pieces, early 1900s mostly, but some rather nice pieces from the 50s and 70s as well. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this sort of thing. We are hoping to sell most of them, and didn't want to get taken advantage of through ignorance.

Here are a couple of sample pictures. Nothing too spectacular.
