Post 2 Chronicles 7:11-22

May be

2 chronicles 7:11-22, I am reminded that these verses tell us how God would deal with Israel if they were led away by other gods. Verse 22 sums it up with, 'Because they abandoned the Lord.'

Can we then say that they abandoned Christ (30 a.d.) and these verses were fullfilled in 70a.d.? I would even say that based on the subject verses, the Jewish people are even now in the land in violation of the above scripture reference.

I know they had to go somewhere after the Holocaust. I just don't know the answer other than for them to repent and say, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord."

Unless I am convinced by proofs from Scriptures or by plain and clear reasons and arguments, I can and will not retract, for it is neither safe nor wise to do anything against conscience. Here I stand. I can do no other. God help me. Amen.
