Actually, much, much worse. I'm an ex-ABCUSAer. My region of 300 churches pulled out of the ABC a couple of years ago. The church I am a member of is a mix of mostly Arminian folks (athough I did do a multiple month study of TULIP for my Sunday School class recently where many of the church leaders attend, including the sr. pastor's wife -- heh, heh, heh).

Now that you explain more about the fact that your pastor is only "Calvinist leaning" and that the church had an "Outdoor Extravaganza," I am even more convinced in the wisdom of the advice to go with the PCA option.

While the Lord has/is/and will use broader evangelical churches to bring people to himself, if there is a reasonable choice, why muck it up. A good Reformed church would certainly be my preference if a choice was available.
