Initially, I thought the intended target might be Christianity, but I'm not so sure. The Ori are definitely a cult, and Cameron mentions an 'Ori Vatican' in the movie, but I agree with Southern Presbyterian here in that the Ori seem more like Muslim terrorists in the way they promote their beliefs than Christians.
Overall, I enjoyed the movie. Maybe that's just fan bias though.
