the forever verses

ALright, here is what really puzzles me.

God repeatedly says of the Levities, the Law, children of Israel

"you shall do this, be My, be a statute.... Forever, throughout all generations, etc.."

so when has forever ceased?

furthermore- Ezekiel's Temple, Literal or figurative?
If figurative- then Why did God go to such great lengths to describe minuite details of it (such as He did with the tabernacle) ALso, why does it say that Sin sacrifices shall return?

If its literal- Guess i dont have a whole lot of questions.. Pre Christ temples looked forward to Christ/Cross, Post ascension Christ, look back ot Cross...
