That is certainly a 'popular' view amongst certain baptist groups but I am yet to see it defended exegetically without major hermenutical errors. I say this not to be "party political" but just as a matter of fact.
It depends how you look at it D.A. Carson and Douglas Moo have taken smiler views of The Law but what are these errors you speak of?
