Be patient with the style and technicalities as you read through it, and enjoy! Turretin is very precise in a way that has been lost in the last few generations. He represents (in the opinion of many) the pinnacle of reformed scholasticism on the (European) continent. For many years, American seminaries across the board continued to use Turretin to teach systematics. With the decline in education (not many students proficient in Latin) and expectations, came a decline in precise theology, imho!
What a blessing to have such a rich resource in English again.
