I personally consider him to be a significant contributor to reformed biblical theology as a science. He has shown that biblical theology is not doctrinally neutral, and has demonstrated how the flow of biblical history is to be understood within the parameters of reformed dogmatics.

I find his discussion of the Lord's "doctrine on God" and Jesus' teaching on "the divine fatherhood" to be especially well done. (Chapter 5: The Revelation of Jesus' Public Ministry, pages 389-397).
