Widely considered the biggest box office flop in Hollywood history, do not see this dreadful piece of garbage!

A terribly self-aware camp-fest with a horrible script, poorly cast, terribly directed.

Gina Davis is no Errol Flynn, and Frank Langella makes for a dreadful casting choice as a villainous pirate.

Renny Harlin who directed Cliff Hanger and Die Hard 2 helmed this one into the rocks.

It had a budget of 85 million dollars and made 3 million at the box office effectively dooming the independent studio that bankrolled it.

That now defunct company was Carolco, makers of the Rambo and Terminator series, two franchises that through huge legal battles now belong to other studios.
