Errol Flynn classics such as:

Captain Blood-1935
The Adventures of Robin Hood-1938
Charge of the Light Brigade- 1940
The Seahawk- 1941
The Adventures of Don Juan-1948


Tyrone Power was another golden age swashbuckler:

The Mark of Zorro-1937
The Three Musketeers-1930

Douglas Fairbanks Jr. did a sensational one:

The Prisoner of Zenda- 1938 I believe

For more contemporary swashbucklers see Ridley Scott's directorial debut:

The Duelists- 1977

John Huston had a hand in a pair of adventure flicks:

The Wind and the Lion-1975
The Man Who Would Be King-1975
(Both star Sean Connery)

Also check out the Three Musketeer movies from the 1970s that Richard Lester of Superman II fame directed for the Producers of the original Superman movies.
