Since I was the one who brought Geree back to life in the 20th century, please let me comment. Geree was uniquely gracious towards his Antipaedobaptist brethren. His definition ought to be considered by all academics. He gives a unique insight as an Anglican of the non-conformists. The lines are not as black and white as many think. Tombes was a trier under Cromwell. Even Ussher sought raprochment with Credobaptists.
