Oh, no! You're one of the THEM! I get a kick out of the folks who mark their territory in the sanctuary. They rush in to place their bible, purse, coat, hat etc. where they are going to sit. I love it when someone unexpected comes in earlier than them and sits in their place. They come in and just stare at "their" seat!
They don't know what to do. They walk around, mutter a few words and then take a seat someplace else, but you can tell they are steamed and feeling like a fish out of water. I have to admit I find it hilarious.
