The opening to "The Two Towers" is amazing, imo. How many movies open with a fight between Gandalf and a Balrog, plummeting the hundreds of yards from the Bridge to the underground lake, only to find out it was a "dream?" I like the opening to Fellowship as well, seconding Todd's nomination. Star Wars is also great.
