Whenever something important was happening in a military unit, there was a standard procedure set up that many of you probably know as a "phone tree". Everyone knew who to call so the entire unit could be contacted and, in some cases, recalled. Now, nobody practices it any more and when e-mail goes down a command is paralyzed. | The United States military is at the mercy of e-mail? Yikes.
