I really recommend the book, Three Views on the Millennium and Beyond.

Gentry takes the postmil.
Robert Strimple takes the amil.
Craig Blaising takes the premil.

They all do a decent job. Blaising's essay is good in that he describes the shifts in eschatology in church history.
