I'm sorry but is this really your objection? It is really quite facile.
Nobody has argued a one-for-one correlation. I even told Paul that your objection wasn't quite worth devoting that particular refutation to because the idea that the only way that a continuation of principle can continue is if we're still stoning people is simply ludicrous.
The continuity is even found in the "unequally yoked" passages as well as the concern that believers have in being married to the "unclean". There is a greater freedom in the NC and Christ is able to bring those ceremonially unclean back into the midst of God's people but the principle of being set apart (ekklesia) is intact.
