My apologies if I have misunderstood what your intent in the argument was. What I was saying was that whether or not God authorizes the use of the sword, Christians should be separate from that. Were you not concerned with Christians at this stage of your debate/discussion? Meaning, you weren't specifically discussing Christians at the time?
