My initial response was going to be "An unsuccessful attempt?", assuming he may have written negatively about the attempt. I googled the book, and came across a news clip at the Fuller website that spoke about George Marsden's January visit to Fuller where over 300 from the seminary community attended. I guess he couldn't have come down too hard on the seminary if they wanted him to come speak there.
