I'm not quite sure what off the knuckle means... but I usually have my arrows in my back pocket until I use them. I have aspirations of making a really pretty quiver. I made my arm guard from leather I bought at the taxidermy place, it's not fancy or anything though. I do hope to get some leather stamping tools and using those to decorate them.
