Actually, I think it does speak to the issue. Fewer variants in Hebrew mean fewer variants in English. Be that as it may, NASB is absolutely of no value whatsoever from the pulpit IMO. It has its uses in translation for study, but its overly wooden style doomed it as a popular English version.
